- The Product Manager Assets and Deputy MSSR/MSSR-Neo is responsible for the equipment required for the installation of IFF systems on various ships and shore installations (Cabinets (standard and compact), Multicontrol Unit (MCU), Antennas, etc.).
- The focus is, among other things, on the future further development of the current IFF Interrogator MSSR2000 ID and the future/successor MSSR Neo.
- The Product Manager Assets leads one development team.
- The role/position Deputy Product Manager MSSR and MSSR Neo consists of all relevant topics in order to support the current Product Manager.
- To define the requirements for the Assets etc. in cooperation with the project managers (and for future projects with the sales/bid department)
- Setting up and tracking the budget for the necessary development activities
- Carrying out risk management
- Creating and maintaining the schedules / release plans for the development activities in cooperation with the development/bid team
- Responsibility regarding the R&D business cases
- Ensuring an HMS-compliant product life cycle
- Supporting the sales and bid team (Bid Team)
- Further development of the existing portfolio in close cooperation with the other IFF product managers/project managers, sales/bid and programme management
- Communication with external stakeholders (e.g. AIMS, BAAINBw, WTD, various customers etc.)
