ICT Cloud & Security Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for you as

You will play a key role in designing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft 365 and Azure services within Teknos’ existing IT environment, aligned with our global ICT roadmap and strategic vision.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for collaboration with our international team on cloud-related topics. Your responsibilities will include developing roadmaps, execution plans and implementing robust IT security measures. You’ll also oversee the deployment, monitoring and maintenance of AI systems, ensuring full compliance with organizational policies and standards. A significant part of your role will involve ownership, administration and automation of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID tools and services. You’ll provide operational and administrative support for cloud applications, troubleshoot issues, implement new tools and M365 functionalities and deliver 2nd and 3rd level support.

As a member of our global ICT team, you will report directly to the Head of Infrastructure and Services Management. This position can be based in one of Teknos’ European locations – preferably Germany, Liechtenstein or Poland – and offers a flexible, hybrid working model with regular office visits.

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Planning, implementation and development of M365/Entra ID services
• Continuous improvement and automation of the deployed systems
• Planning, implementation, administration and further development of security standards
• AI integration: defining guidelines, setting technical requirements and overseeing implementation
• Proactively monitoring and managing IT incidents to ensure system reliability
• Support of colleagues with Microsoft core operations and troubleshooting
• Collaborating across departments and stakeholders to align IT solutions with business needs
• Exploring and evaluating emerging technologies to drive innovation in IT
• Developing and maintaining advanced M365 security features (e.g., Cloud App Security, Defender, ATA)
• Administering M365 applications and interfaces (SharePoint, Teams, Security & Compliance Center)
• Maintenance and implementation of third-party software (IAM, project planning software, etc.)
• Mentoring and training team members on M365 and Entra ID tools and best practices
• Leading strategic projects to roll out new M365 and Entra ID capabilities
• Creating and executing strategies to maximize adoption and efficiency of M365/Entra ID services
• Partnering with internal teams to ensure IT tools meet evolving organizational needs

• Completed IT education
• Several years of hands-on experience in a similar role, with responsibility for analyzing complex IT-related issues and customer inquiries, developing tailored solutions and driving their successful implementation
• Ability to execute software projects according to customer requirements, deliver end user trainings, monitor the connected systems and create correct documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex issues
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel occasionally
